In one of our articles we have talked about the work in the Zoom system via desktop browser. Today we will look through the joining process to our webinars using mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.
1. First of all, you need to install the Zoom mobile application: Zoom for Android or Zoom for iOS.
You need to log into your Zoom account.
To join the lecture, follow the link to the webinar, which can be found in your personal account on the current group's page.
2.After clicking the "Join Webinar" link, the "Waiting for the organizer" screen will appear in the Zoom app. On this screen, you need to wait for the lecturer to join and for the lecture to begin.
3. Once the lecturer starts the lecture, the following screen will be displayed:
The lecture can be viewed not only in portrait mode but also in landscape mode:
4. Let's review the features provided by this program.
4.1. In the bottom menu, there is an icon for the chat, which allows you to access the chat/questions block for the lecturer. If you click on this icon, you will see the chat screen with the lecturer, where you can write your question. Your question can be answered both verbally and in writing.
IMPORTANT: During the lecture, there is NO general chat. A participant who asks a question can only see their own dialogue. The general chat is only available to the lecturer.
If the lecturer has not addressed your question and hasn't responded to it, they may have missed it due to the large number of messages.
If your question has not been answered during the lecture, please contact online support via the website or in your personal account.
5. During the webinar, the lecturer will initiate polls.
Answering them is very simple: just select the answer you believe is correct and then click the "Submit" button. Once all participants have provided their answers, the lecturer will display the results on the screen as percentages. There is no need to exit this screen yourself; the lecturer will close it once the process is complete.
6. By clicking the far-right button in the top menu, you will be able to leave the webinar.
7. If issues arise with the Zoom program during the lecture or if you accidentally close it, you have the option to reconnect to the session. To do this, simply click the link again and launch the application.
8. Feedback after the lecture. After the session, a page will open in your browser, where you will be asked to rate the lecturer and the webinar on a scale of 1 to 10.
Your opinion is very important for our company and for the lector in particular!
